Eóin Wayne, Scoláire Naughton, ag Searmanas i gColáiste na Tríonóide inniu
Bronnadh Scoláireacht Naughton ar Eóin Wayne, Rang na hArdteiste 2024, inniu. Is é An Taoiseach Simon Harris a bhronn an scoláireacht air agus bhí Múinteoir Alice mar ionadaí na scoile ag an ócáid. Thuill Eóin an t-uasmhéad 625 pointí san Ardteist i mbliana agus tá sé anois ag déanamh staidéir ar Mhatamaitic i gColáiste na Tríonóide, Baile Átha Cliath.
Bronntar an Scoláireacht Naughton ar iarrthóirí Ardteistiméireachta a ghlacann le cúrsa STEM in Ollscoil in Éirinn. Is fiú an scoláireacht agus €24,000 agus bronntar €1000 ar an scoil, freisin, as ucht tacú le hEóin i gcúrsaí STEM agus chun infheistíocht a dhéanamh inár n-áiseanna STEM tuilleadh.
Ar ndóigh, is lá iontach bródúil a bhí ann do mhuintir Eóin agus don scoil. Tá an-bhród orainn agus is cinnte go mbeidh Eóin mar spreagadh do dhaltaí Choláiste Ghlór na Mara, a bhfuil spéis acu sa Mhatamaitic, sa Teicneolaíocht, san Innealtóireacht agus san Eolaíocht amach anseo.
